Formula Change Coming For Oxycodone And Dilaudid

Anyone hearing about oxycodone and dilaudid's formula being changed?

Hello, Maty! How are you?

The formulation for Oxycontin was changed a few years ago, to help prevent its abuse and there has been talk about making the others more abuse proof, as well. However, I don't have any precise information on when it will be done, or even if this is still in the works.

Does anyone else know more?

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
