Fludac 20 For Anxiety

8 Years back I have conlulted a psychiartist for axiety & depression.The doctor priscribed me fludac20 one in the morning & I have continued for 3 years then reduced the dossage & stoped as per doctor's advice.After that I did not use any medicine for above, I was feeling ok in normal situations but when I face a problem I will get nerves, panic & anxiety this time my BP will increase & looses sleep. Now a days it becom more (anxiety) effected in my day by day life . So I have started again fludac 20 again once in the morning. presently I am working in UAE my doctor is in India so I did not consult him.I would like to know can I continue the medicine if so how long I have to.Thank you & expect your valuable reply.I am an Inian (keralite) 46 years, staying in UAE with family. no smoking, 2 drinks twice in a week, 85 kg, office work, no regular exercise, taking medicine for diabetic & hypertenssion. I have treated for ulcer last year, also having problem
with tonsillitis

I'm sorry, but without knowing your full medical history, other medications you may be taking, as well as the full information on your current medical conditions, no one can really answer that question.

It reallly needs to be checked with the other medications you are taking, for possible interaction problems.

Fludac contains the active ingredient Fluoxetine, this is an antidepressant that helps some people with anxiety. Many people do take it everyday of their lives, for years.

My wife is 32 and suffering from OCD and has been started on Fludac 5ml and Zapiz .25mg. She has been taking this for a week now. There has been little improvement in OCD symptoms but the anxiety has worsened. She is having panic attacks,is indecisive and talks incessantly
