No, this is not a steroid. Flextra DS contains Acetaminophen and Phenyltoloxamine. Acetaminophen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory used as a pain reliever and fever reducer and the Phenyltoloxamine is an antihistamine that helps enhance its effectiveness.

Some of the most common side effects may include: nausea, dry mouth and drowsiness.

You can read more about these medications here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phenyltoloxamine

Is there anything else I can help you with?

Yeah i think its realy vry harmfull to take diz pain killer for so long ,,as it can cause problem to your liver n kidney as well .
So its better to go for MRI. It may b due to streched tissue .

My Age is 44 and I have a constant pain at my right side below the last rib extending to the hip area in the Muscles, and this pain increases if I do a hard job or any vigorous activity(Iam a pateint of Cervical spondylosis I did MRI for NECK and found problem at C6 and C5 area which Neurologist says cannot do any thing except to take medicine or go for operation, he prescribed Flexura D).
I did the Scanning of that part fearing the Liver Problem due to feeling of constant pain but Scanning was clear except mild Fatty Liver according to doctor.
doctor Advised me to go for IFT physiotherapy pulse treatment at the effected area, I got relief for some time bus it started again, When I take Flexura D Tablet I feel OK for the day but it all starts again by Evening. Please advise what to do, I have this pain since a year and my body gets twisted at the right side below the last rib area due to the pain sometimes and the area has become so sensitive that the cloth touching over it makes me twist the body (very strange situation to describe in words)

I have pain in my left shoulder and after having steroid injections nothing improved . Got mri done which shows small amount of fluid collection in lt shoulder joint synovial space and minimal fluid collection in the tynosynovial space of the tendon of the long head of the biceps in the lt bicipital groove s/o synovitis other things normal .dr. Prescribed me to take flexura d two times a day and also neurobion fort once a day . Also to use volini and hot fomentation. I wonder if these medications are only pain reliever or these will also contribute to the reduction of fluid collection.
