my doctor prescribed me fixcom4 to take but i have done for xray sputum test ppd test fot tb but the result is negative even d biopsy result when i experience first the inflammation of lympnodes left part of my neck is just an infections still d doctor prescribe me to drink fixcom4 then after a weeks i notice a rashes occured in my skin and fever until i confined and diagnosed non specific viral exanthem is this something to of fixcom4 is not really suitable for me to drink this please help me to answer this because i was now suffering to exanthem and when i stop to that medicine i feel better now thanks and godbless

hi khaye, i also have inflammation of lymphnode and advised to take fixcom 4, i am worried what will be the side effect and does your doctor advised you to stop that medicine?

Khaye, there is no reason to take this, if you tested negative on those checks for TB. I am not sure why your doctor still wanted you to take it.

It contains a combination of medications to treat TB, Isoniazid, Ethambutol, Pyrazinamide, and Rifampin. Rash and fever can be side effects of it according to the NIH. Other side effects may include nausea, diarrhea, and stomach pain.

Ram, did you doctor do any exams to see if you have TB?

Bheng, it is possible to be allergic of the ingredients in it, so there is no way to name one specific culprit. What type of reaction did you experience?
