good day, can i have have a list of fish oil supplement that could be a good choice and as well as inexpensive and available in the philippines? i am 21 years old. thank you.

As to what might be available for you, I have no way of knowing that, since we are based in the U.S.

I can tell you, however, from what my own cardiac doctor told me to purchase, that it is usually recommended to take 2000mgs a day and you should make sure that whatever you purchase contains at least 700mgs of Omega-3 Fatty Acids, both the EPA and DHA varieties.

I am not a doctor but I recently switched to high dose DHA in fish oil. A serving should contain at least 500 mg of dha alone. I take 1500 to 2000 mg of dha a day.

I saw marked improvement in my anxiety and depression the second day. Dha has been shown to boost seratonin and dopamine levels when in sufficient amounts. I read in studies that a therapeutic dose is a minimum of 1000 mg dha daily and it helps your heart too.

My intake is 400 EHA/1500 DHA Daily. I take 3 pills. There are a few brands that offer high level dha without having to take a lot of pills.
