I tested positive today and last monday for benzodiazepines at my suboxone doctor. He's testing me again next monday and i'm kicked out if it's dirty. I took one valium to help me sleep when i was withdrawing about 8-9 days ago, so i understand the first test being dirty. The only things i have taken other than suboxone the last week and a half is ibuprofen, and energy drinks (mio). Can someone please help me understand why i'm getting this false positive and how to correct it?

I also go to a suboxone doctor. I took a 10mg valium 12/2/15 before I was going to start the program. I was dirty for benzos my first lab test which was taken 12/16/15. My doc did not tell me about this and on 12/18 he did give me my first dose of suboxone. My test lab test was 12/22/15 and again I was dirty for valiums but he gave me the suboxone anyway because he said it (valium )can last 21 days or longer. Since then I have been negative for benzos, even though on 12/29 I took 3 5mg klonopins ( read where klonopin does not show in system) and sure enough it did not show, I tested clean and doctor wrote me another suboxone script on 12/30

i don't know what dose your suboxone is but it is dangerous to mix it with sedatives.
