False Positive Drug Test Ventolin Inhalers

I used ventolin inhaler and I get drug tested every month. I've been clean for almost three years. Usually I just use the albuterol inhaler and never tested positive, then I used the one with ventolin and I tested positive three times in a row and the Dr told me I was lying because she took three tests. I told her to send it off, she did and I got my negative paper yesterday, so it does cause false positives.

what did you test positive for because im having problems with my asthma and i take the ventolin and im also in drug court fighting for my kids in desperate because i will lose my kids if i dont get to the botton of it

Not sure if you will even see this. I must inform you though, since you already went through having your doctor call you a liar, and you were able to prove her wrong by having it sent for further testing, then you need to know how important that paperwork is that said this. You are in drug court, almost 99% of paperwork such as this, will be valid. Your drug court lawyer should of made you well aware of this. Don't worry, just make sure you take in that paperwork stating what is really in your system, that it is not amphets or anything else illegal. And have a word with ur good for nothing drug court atty.

My husband tested positive for benzodiapidenes. He only uses his ventolin HFA inhaler for his asthma. I don't understand I think it's a false positive. Because he never showed up positive before he took this inhaler. Now his po is trying to lock him up. She sent it out to a lab. Please help me figure this out.

Can a ventolin inhaler make u have a false positive on a drug test for ephedrine? Or do ventolin inhalers contain ephedrine?

Hi. I have been testing positive for methamphetamine and amphetamines and I use an inhaler (Ventolin), and it's coming out really high on mg. I got my kids taken away cause they say I'm getting high.

Hi see I'm going thru the same issue as well I haven't kids in foster care for the same reason it's really sad to see that they don't believe us that the medication we take is the cause of this positive test the only thing that comes out of my social worker mouth is I relapse and it's not true.
