i would like to know if anyone know how long mepergan is good for. i have some from february of 2007 and i have been prescribed the same dosage. i was wondering if it would be safe to take

While some medications have a longer shelf life, I have to say that both of those mentioned are far past the recommended date they are considered safe to use. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, and constipation.

Thus, it would be best to dispose of them and see your doctor for a new prescription, if you require one.
