hey, i tried this last year for arthritis, and my blood pressure shot up to dangerous levels...also causes dehdyration, its great for people with normal blood pressure, but i would look for an alternative as salts and blood pressure dont mix. try some oils or muscle rubs.

It really depends on how much you use, and if your doctor approves. Many people do not absorb enough of it to cause an issue, but we are all different, so some people might absorb more of it, and some people are more sensitive to various salts/sodium forms.

For instance, I have high blood pressure, and my cardiologist okayed my trying epsom salts, I didn't have a problem soaking in it, but I am sensitive to a high amount of salt in certain foods I eat, so I have to be careful with what I eat. Basically, in every instance, you have to tailor everything to what works best for you, and your body chemistry.

The FDA does warn that it could raise blood pressure in those that are sensitive to it, just like Sarah experienced.

Are there any questions?
