Epilex Chrono is not a an antibiotic. It contains the active ingredient Sodium Valproate, which is an anticonvulsant that's used to treat epilepsy, anorexia and some mood disorders.

Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, weight changes and mood swings.

My son is treated for seizure with epilex chrono 300 mg x 2 for the last two years. aged-23. How long he has to take the medicine and any side effects if he is taking it continuously ? Whether seizure is completely curable ?
