This is a medication that is used to treat conditions such as congestive heart failure and high blood pressure, it contains the active ingredients Triamterene and Hydrochlorothiazide.

It can remove excess fluid from the body, which may cause some weight loss, but it will not be a significant loss, unless you have edema or CHF.

Its other side effects, as listed by the FDA, may include nausea, dizziness, increased urination, dehydration and hypotension.

Yes, it may cause hair loss in some people that take it, as well.

Has it been prescribed for you?
