Hi I am shwetha m planning for a second baby n I have pcos. I had completed my periods last week but again I have got my periods from sday.. hence doc has given me doxy-1 DR FORTE for 5 days.. but my question is it is said doxy is unsafe for planning pregnancy.. so will this delay my pregnancy plans or how is this..

No, the issue is with meds that are taken while you are pregnant.

The NIH lists the typical side effects of this antibiotic as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, and non-allergic skin rash.

Are you on any other medications?
