I take oxycodone and took one percocet today and have a drug test tomorrow at my pain doctor. Will the test show the difference?

when it goes to the lab for testing, the lab can tell the chemical difference between the oxycodone and the percocet.

Well that's my problem... I took 3 Perk's 3 day's b4 getting popped for a UT at my PM 2 week's ago and I'm only supposed to take oxycodone 10 mg every 4 hours plus my fentynal patch 25 mg... I've never done this b4 do it figures this would happen and I only did it bc I wasn't home and didn't have mine on me so my sister in-law gave them to me but she said it was the same thing... So now I got my Dr calling me and leaving me a message saying call me back is about your result's... I'm screwed aren't I?? Smh.. I wish I never took them now... I need my meds bc I have chronic pancreatitis and other thing's that debilitate me and my Dr knows that but they don't care... My test was definitely sent to a lab so that must be why she's calling me.

Will taking 4 oxycodone be enough to pass a pain management drug screen if you are prescribed 4 per day and only take one day before testing.

No loratab will show different than a percocet because loratab is an hydrocodone and percocet is an oxycodone so they are different

Not true ! However you must first try several suggested meds that are equivalent to your prescibed med. If your doctor states you get no pain releif from the several meds he suggested and only get releif from your original script Medicaid will PRE AUTHORIZE a more expensive med for you. If people do NOT KNOW THE ANSWER 100% they really should hold off on commenting ! I have been on pain mgmt. For well over 11 years and encountered this problem personally but had to try and eliminate 10 different meds suggested by my Dr.as well as my insurance rep.from Medicaid at the time ! I no longer have Medicaid as my primary but also was denied authorization from present insurance simply provided proof from my pharmacist records and indeed received authorization for my oxymorphone 40 er 3 3xs daily and my oxycodone 30 6 x's daily or as needed.

No, they both show up as oxycodone. I had a drug test last month and take oxycodone immediate release on the regular but took a few percocets a few days before my test and I passed. So no worries, the only difference between percocets and oxycodone is percocets have acetaminophen as a filler, so you should be fine
