I'm looking for a dr that can give me pain meds,I have had two back surgeries and now I'm having problems with my ankle,they gave me a ex ray they found that there is a lot of arthritis around the hardware in there,they gave me a shot but it only lasted 3 days now I'm limping bad on it again. I used to take 4 Tylenol 3's but their not giving them to me anymore,I need to find a dr in my area Titusville,pa thanks

care to pass the info along. Many of us out here are in deperate need of pain meds. I am 45 and have no quality of life. I want to actively participate in my grand babies lives and I feel that I am missing out on everything. PLEASE pass this Dr's info along, as well as the location. I wold be eternally grateful. You don't mention what area you live in & what type of medical conditions you have.
If you live in the South Western NY area you may be able to get help, but have your documentation ready & may have to go thru some multiple appointments.

I live in Buffalo, NY. I haven't been able to get my Norco from my primary or back doctors outside of a few temporary prescriptions. Most of my back is fused including a metal rod. I have stenosis and sometimes get a steroid shot in the lower back for that. Problem is that I become more active and get nauseous sometimes throw up. The angle of my neck and head because of my back fusion is what does that. When I am off my feet because of lower back and leg pain before the steroid shot it's not a problem. My back doctor wants me to do therapy first. I did that before and it did not help and had more pain. I still do the few things that do help. I had a primary that did give me Norco, but his group kicked my whole family out a few months after he started that. Official reason given was "patient doctor relationship", but there were no issues. My new primary just won't touch any pain management especially since I have a back doctor. I've only ever used the small (325) Norco, often splitting it and using as needed. On average, one tab a day. To manage my pain with otc drugs is dangerous to my liver etc. Handfulls of otcs just won't do it most days. I might leave my primary anyway. He could not understand that my blood pressure goes high when I need another steroid shot to the low back and he prescribed high bp meds which screwed with me. 4 weeks after the shot and stopping the bp med, I am 120 over 71. I could find another back doctor if they also do the steroid shot.

I live in Middletown, OH and have just recently relocated from KY. I have been on Opana 402, roxycodone 30 mg, and norco 10's along with 2mg Klonopin for many years. I have a 2 week supply left and do not know where to begin to find a Dr willing to write for my meds. I have vascular tumors around my spine. DDD in my lower and mid back, avascular nedcrosis in both shoulders n hips, as well as fibromyalgia. Can anyone offer any advise on finding a Dr willing to help me? I have all my medical records with me n I do not mind if I have to do a bit of traveling, I have had to drive 3 hours, one way, for years just to get treatment. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Peanuts Gram, if you have insurance call your insurance company and ask for a list of Pain Management Doctors in your area. If you don't have insurance you will need to call around until you find a Pain Management Doctor that accepts cash.

Peanut Gram,
Call Doctors Pain Clinic on rt 224 in Canfield, all pain clinics in the area you will need a referral, I definitely would start with them. If you have any questions just ask, I have been to every clinic in this area and can tell you who is good and who is BAD. HOPE THIS HELPS keep me posted
