Doctor To Treat Anxiety In Phoenix Area

I have recently moved to the phoenix area and need to find a doctor who will prescribe valium or xanax for anxiety.

Due to the new regulations regarding these types of medications, you're most likely going to need to see a general practitioner and be referred to a specialist for treatment of your anxiety.

Since benzodiazepines are very commonly abused and may be habit forming, most GPs won't prescribe them for long-term use, anymore. There is far too much involved in monitoring the person and keeping track of prescriptions, plus everything else required by the government.

Do you have a regular doctor there, already?

If so, then asking them for a referral would be your best option.
