Doctor Is Retiring And Need Another That Will Prescribe Xanax Seroquel In Garland Tx

My Doctor is retiring in 4 months and Ive been his patient for the past 6 yrs. I am on xanax and seroquel, does anyone know of any Drs in Dallas Tx or Dallas county that Will give me the same script if I take my records in. PLEASE HELP IM DESPERATE!!!!!

Due to the new regulations set forth by the DEA last year, to stay on Xanax, you'll likely need to see a psychiatrist. Most general practice physicians will not prescribe it, anymore.

The FDA lists Xanax as carrying the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability.

Seroquel is used to treat schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and depression. Its typical side effects may include nausea, dizziness, mood swings, dry mouth and weight gain.

Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area?

Can you ask him for referrals to similarly minded docs? Also don't be afraid to call a practice and just ask straight up. I have been on this and it works does your office rx benzos?
