as long as your records are strait and u have a painful pathology and medical condition that warrants..........opiods for chronic pain you may wanna try holy redeemer hospitals pain managment section.....the head of it is a md with the last name Galapo.....he takes insurance and u may be able to work out cash deal im not sure....mostly insurance.....records are big with him he follows your medical records so if u havent been discharged or fired hes a godsend.....if he wont take u as a patient im sure somebody there can make a suggestion....

There is a qualified office that many doctors refer to. As specialists they are not in the network for most insurances so you pay directly, and if you have insurance you can usually get reimbursed. They are very good yet very strict. They are board certified and care about their patients. They limit the number of patients they treat, so if they have an opening go for it! I heard they recently had openings.
They usually only take referrals from Primary Care and other Physicians through their website for doctors only. But you should check out a site called "phillypain" where you can see the requirements and restrictions. You can call without a referral and just say you came across the site in a web search. You usually have to be persistent and keep leaving messages until someone contacts you. Always be professional and polite. Good luck! Let me know how you make out. I hope this helps you and others.

and for all those patients that have been fired......sadly it doesnt matter what youve been fired for you will not find a legitimate doctor who takes insurance or who will risk there insurance or dea number taking you on as a patient...these rollmodel doctors will send u packing... after they see you and take your insurance and CHARGE your insurance they will say im sorry because of being fired for a u/a or pill count or whatever it is your blacklisted in that type of medical community....you will have to find a doctor who does u/a's but only takes cash...uses mostly folders and no computers....and they just write your scripts according to what the last doctor did... that's the only way you'll ever find a doc to write u a opiate again... they do not care about your medical records...they are the new pill mill, they just want the med in your system and a clean u/a every 2 weeks or every month depending on when u get your pills....there is a method to this, you guys will have to find a place like this.......we all wish u the best of luck and if u truly want your pain meds u wont stop seeing doctors till u find one who will rx....or a doc who declines u cuz hes legitimate but whispers in your ear .....WHERE TO GO....if u know what I mean...the so called u i don't hear that FROM HIM...u DIDN'T hear that from me....when your black listed less talk is better....you'll find a shady one, keep looking.

In 2017 I find it impossible to find a pain specialist to treat with opiates. I saw a pain dr for 20 yrs & got relief for the many damaged parts of my 60 (now) yr old body. There all scared of losing their license like my only dr of 20 yrs. Now I'm in bed can't eat sleep in pain even in my short dreams. I need a pain dr to help my last 10 -20 yrs. to be able to want to live & enjoy my grandchildren, not to hide from them. Not wanting to have them see me live like this.

I'm in south NJ ,Phila.Pa.area and I can't find a dr that speak like Dr. They all seem to work like DEA agents , not Dr. They fear the hand of the DEA shutting their offices down.Last Oct.2016 my only pain Dr of 20 yrs was shut down after working with DEA to stop old patients from changing names on his scripts to other ppl names & changed dates.They were making big $ .I can't believe I was dropped like an old bag of garbage,after being a perfect patient for 20 yrs.I can't even get my records so I may( doubt I'd get treatment with new laws & DEA right in the office) At age 60 I now have age related diseases ,osteoporosis that adds to my body already riddled with so much pain I feel I'm going insane with pain. I need a name & address of a dr who takes new patients?
