Sorry, since this is not from the US, I am unable to find any information on it, or what our equivelent for it would be. Drugs from other countries, even Canada, just aren't as regulated as the ones we have available in the US.

Bezide is used to treat hypertension and not high pertension. The story I get from the people I have spoken with is that bezide is essentially hydrochlorothiazide, or HCTZ. If that is the case, then it is a diuretic which relieves vascular pressure by promoting the loss of body fliuids through urine. Side effects could include lightheadedness/dizzines, syncope, etc.

Bezide is Bendrofluazide. A thiazide diuretic. It is similar to Hydrochlorthiazide.

It is normally marketed as a 2.5mg or 5mg tablet. Incidently, regardless of the strength, the same degree of water loss is apparent. When taking this drug a banana or orange prevents night cramps , caused by potassium depletion

I have been diagnosed with a kidney stone for a week now. Doctor said he could do nothing because test says that my creatinine level is high (what is creatinine?). So he gave me bezide srf, a small pink tablet to lower the creatinine. One a day for three weeks, then we continue with further treatment. Ultra sound results say 1.3x1.0x1.1cm simple renal cyst at the upper pole of left kidney.
