IS THERE A DRUG THAT WILL WORK AS THIS ONE . THAT IS CHEAPER MY WIFE CANNOT TAKE ASPIRIN. THE COST OF DIOVAN HCT 320MG/25MG HAS WENT UP REALLY THIS YEAR WAS TIER 2 NOW TIER 3 SOMEONE NEEDS TO PUT A STOP TO HIGH COST OF DRUGS WHEN THEY ARE MADE IN CHINA NOW . PLEASE HELP US WIFE HAS KIDNEY CANCER.

Have either of you consulted the relevant doctors, or pharmacists?

At this time, I am not aware of a generic product that contains bother classes of the relevant medications, which are an ARB (in this case Valsartan) and the diuretic Hydrochlorothiazide.

There are generics in these classes, just not as the combined medication, unless one was very recently released that I don't have the information on.

However, one named Cozaar which contains Losartan was released as a generic, so you might want to check with your doctor to see if it can be prescribed, along with a generic Hydrochlorothiazide and used that way.
