I think you are referring to Diethylpropion which is used as an appetite suppresant. Brands and other names for this medication are Tenuate, Amfepramone, etc.

More details about this drug are available at:

I am looking to find out the name and/or ingredients of a black, gel-capped, no markings, oblong diet pill from the dominican republic. It is an appetite suppressant and facilitates weight loss (approx. 20 lbs/month). Side effects include dry mouth and increased thirst.

Unfortunately I would need any markings or imprints to locate your pill. There are many pills that fit your description, is there any other information you can give me? Please post back so I can help you further.
