Diclofenac Is Not Working

diclofenac in the back of my leg my doctor told me the pain that bothers me everyday all day is my sciatica nerve and he prescribed diclofenac 75mg dr tab pack but it does not work for me at all. If anybody can tell me how to get over the pain i feel everyday II would be grateful or tell me another medication i can use to stop this pain i would be thankful...

Hello, Poppi! How are you? I'm very sorry that you're in pain.

The best thing to do would be to return to your doctor and let them know that this medication isn't helping you. It is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory and there are other medications available that you can try.

Dear poppi, you may try the rectal suppository type. It has almost instant absorption into the blood system. Ask your doctor.

If I can make a suggestion...I have suffered for years with back pain and have had back surgery. I was afraid I was going to have to have another with this sciatica pain. To make a long story short, as it turns out I was deficient in Magnesium and was told to take twice the recommended amount, (I take 8 per day) and BINGO. Within a day the pain was gone!! The brand I take is from a company called Jigsaw. It's called Magnesium w/ SRT. I have taken other magnesium supplements that have caused loose stools but this one seems to be tolerable for me.
