Darvocet Allergic Reaction

my husband had a sulfa-drug antibiotic prescribed to him for an infection and had a bad allergic reaction, The infection is back and he was prescribed darvocet before he has surgery. I understand this also has a small amount of sulfer in it. Will he have a reaction to it?

Sulfa is not an active ingredient in it, the active ingredients in it are Acetaminophen and Propoxyphene.
