D Amphetamine Salt Combo Dosage Question

I am prescribed D amphetamine salt combo manufactured by levo. It's an orange pill that has a line in the center to make it easier to break in half. My Doctor told me I might try just taking half at first. So that's what I did. I am not sure if I am getting the full effect of focusing, but also not sure if I should try taking the entire pill at once. As I'm not sure if this would be too strong for me.

What advise would you give as far as dosage? Would it be ok or advised to take the entire pill or should I just keep taking half and half? I have been taking half in the morning and half mid day.

I do notice a slight improvement in my concentration but not as much as I'd like. So to paraphrase I am wondering if it would be safe or advised to take the entire pill in the morning. That's what the bottle says. Take one in the morning.

Please advise.

I'm sorry, but I can't provide you with an answer, without knowing he dosage of the tablet or the markings on it, so I can look up the dosage. Can you please post back with more information? Thanks!

The colors don't actually mean anything.

And have you asked your doctor about trying a whole tablet?
