Colorado Oxycodone

my pharmacy stoped getting the 30 mg. melloncrodt oxcycodone brand and the other brands get me sick is there anyone that can tell me where I can go get that brand of medication please?

Ask your Pain Management MD or the MD that wrote the script for you to notate on the script to fill as is. That way a pharmacy can't substitute.

The only problem with that Zi can't find a pharmacy that carries that brand. : ( sucks

@Ben,

Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be anyway of knowing which brand is in stock at any given moment. I think this is because they usually just hand you whatever it is that's sitting on the shelf; and that tends to be from whomever their cheapest supplier is at that time.

My suggestion is that if you know of a pharmacy that used to carry a particular brand, then you could ask them if they ever anticipate making them available again. Otherwise it's a bit of a gamble finding another pharmacy that has them on the shelf when you go in on a first come first serve basis.

I often hear about people having to switch their prescription altogether to another medication, just because a certain manufacturer's brand isn't regularly available to them. If you've tried any other prescriptions that work well and are easier to fill, that may be the next best option when you ultimately have to rely on someone else to manage your pain.
