Hi ajay,

I'm so sorry to hear about what you're going through. I've been there and I know it feels like there is no end, but there really is. Do you think that your change in mood and inability to sleep are side effects caused by Clonazepam? Based on my research, what you are experiencing could very well be side effects of the Clonazepam so I would speak with a doctor as soon as possible.

Here is some side effect information for Clonazepam:

Call your doctor right away if you notice any of these side effects:

Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing

Feeling sad, irritable, or nervous.

Fever, chills, cough, sore throat, and body aches.

Lightheadedness or fainting.

Severe confusion, drowsiness, or muscle weakness.

Slurred speech.

Unusual behavior or thoughts of hurting yourself.

Unusual movements of the eye.

Worsening seizures.
If you notice these less serious side effects, talk with your doctor:

Blurred vision or headache.

Drooling or dry mouth.

Hangover feeling.

Menstrual cramps or pain.

Mild nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or constipation.

Trouble with concentrating.

If you notice other side effects that you think are caused by this medicine, tell your doctor.

Call your doctor for medical advice about side effects. You may report side effects to FDA at 1-800-FDA-1088.

If you'd be interested in trying an herbal supplement for the anxiety, I really recommend holy basil. It has worked wonders for me when I'm feeling down or overwhelmed!

I hope this helps, good luck to you! :)
