Cispin is a common misspelling for the antidepressant called Zispin SolTab.

Active Ingredient: Mirtazapine

Method of Administration: Orodispersible (e.g. Tablet is placed in the mouth where it rapidly disperses in saliva so that it can be easily swallowed).

Indication: According to medlineplus.gov, Mirtazapine is a prescription antidepressant drug that works by increasing certain types of activity in the brain to maintain mental balance.

Controversy: Studies indicate that it may take up to several weeks or longer for you to feel the full benefit of Mirtazapine.

In my experience, all treatments need to be tailored to each individual. It is almost useless to say "Try this, it worked for me!"
When I was first diagnosed with depression, I was given a drug which did not work, and I was hospitalised to change. This happened twice more, when I was given a drug which did work (Mitazipine), but eventually this was beginning to fail, so an anti-psychotic was added. Fortunately, this was fine, and I have been on this combination for about 20 years. I still get down periods, but they do not last too long. I wish you all the best.
