Hello, Steve! How are you doing? Thank you so much for your very helpful post!

The U.S. FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, stomach pain and diarrhea.

However, it is always important to remember that not everyone experiences such side effects, some people do and some don't. It's always best to speak to your doctor about any concerns you have about them, though.

Or pop onto a site like this and ask, there are always people here who are happy to help, if they can.

Does anyone have any questions or comments?

I took the cipro/flagyl combo for diverticulitis. It turned my stool dark, left me feeling nauseous and spacey, gave my minor nuisance headaches, not diblititatibg, tinnitus, dizziness and an overall "blah" feeling. Mostly at the end and after the regime. But it did knock the crap out of that diver infection. The pain in my lower left colon was gone within the first 12 hours of the first dosage. These two are powerful. I did start taking a probiotic two weeks later(lactobacillicus acedoulphus). It really seem to help shore up my entire digestive system. But, it constipated me so I take it sporadically. Any suggestions for a different probiotic? I really like taking it. I've been sailing through the night shift like a teenager.

Yes not all of us experience the bad side effects. I'm going on my 2nd month and by far the side effects are better than the infection. I've had minor stomach pain, loose stools at times, tiredness and minor stiffness so we will see how the next 30 days go
