Chloroquine phosphate has long been used in the treatment or prevention of malaria.
As it mildly suppresses the immune system, it is also used in some autoimmune disorders, such as rheumatoid arthritis and lupus erythematosus.

They are not prescribing this as a preventative drug choice or Hydroxycholoroquine. It is for ppl who have been prescribed previously or for extreme cases of the coronavirus.

Not according to my Pharmacist. They stopped it because of the ppl that need this drug to live normal lives. The drug has nasty side effects. People have died from taking it as a preventative. Besides, they have no studies or data that people on it can't get coronavirus.

I have fibromyalgia but I also have Rheumatoid qnd Osteoarthritis, and Lupus. My Dr didn't prescribe it for fibromyalgia. Nor does it help those symptoms.
