Chest Pain - Seroquel Withdrawl?

i am having severe chest pain and difficulty breathing for the last 3 days ive been off 50mg seroquel for about 7 days now went to the doctor and he said it was anxiety the pain is so bad i cant do anything. has anyone had this please help!

Hello, Adele! How are you doing? Has there been any change?

Those symptoms can be withdrawal effects of this medication, if you stop taking it abruptly, you may also experience nausea, fever, chills, diarrhea and rebound anxiety, as listed by the FDA.

However, given the symptoms you've described, it would be best to have yourself checked out by a cardiologist to be sure that there is nothing else going on.

hello, thank you so much for replying, im going to see my doctor again on thursday, the chest pains are not as severe, but my chest is still sore...im on my 16th day of withdrawal from seroquel, and still experiencing withdrawals, ive always been a severe insomnia sufferer, hence the initial need for seroquel. im also on imovane, which i plan to give up eventually and paxtine one tab in the mornings...as im alone, no kids etc, just a sick little dog, i need a little support. all the best, adele
