Change In Generic Blood Pressure Medication

I was switched from Losartan by teva, which I was doing great on to Losartan by pack. Within 2 days my legs have swelled and my blood pressure has gone up.
Has anyone else had this problem and how can I get Teva Lorsartan again.

Hello, Lynn! How are you? Has there been any change?

Which one a pharmacy carries depends on which company was offering the cheapest price, when they needed to restock their supply, so there's no way to know if any pharmacy has the one from Teva in stock.

It would actually be best to see your doctor, as edema can be a side effect of this medication, as reported by the FDA, so you may need to switch to a different one, or add a diuretic.

Hi, I called my pharmacy and told them what was going on and they changed my Losartan back to Teva and it's fine now.
That is not the first time that one generic medicine has not worked and another one has.
strange thought they were all the same, not so. Thanks for the reply.
