Hello, Nana! How are you?

Antibiotics lose efficacy with time, so once expired, they may not work as well as they did, when they were new, which creates the risk of your developing antibiotic resistant bacteria. Thus, it would be best to dispose of them and see your doctor, as soon as you can, for a new prescription.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.

Is there anything else I can help with?
