Can taking antidepressants & sleeping tablets together cause memory loss? I am on tablets for epilespy as well!

Centrax contains the active ingredient Prazepam, this is actually a Benzodiazepine, commonly used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders.

Since one of its side effects is drowsiness, some doctors will use it to treat insomnia, as well, however, it IS NOT in and of itself a sleeping pill!

That said, yes, Benzodiazepines can cause memory loss and some forms of amnesia, as well as headaches and irriatbility.
