Caraco Oxycodone 5mg Help!

I have the 5mg roxycodone from caraco pharm and they are giving me horrible hives. Ive been on oxycodone for years and never had this reaction. First time ever taking this manufacturer. Has anybody ever had this

The inactive ingredients can be completely different from one generic to another, so it might be one of them that you're allergic to.

Have you consulted your doctor about the issue?

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

I am allergic to the fillers in generic oxycodone from Amide, Mallinkrodt, and Ethex as well as M.S. Contin by Endo. Just having the tablet (or capsule by Ethex) sit on my tongue causes it to tingle. I'm perfectly fine taking Roxycodone which was recently purchased by Mallinkrodt, and I called them and told them about my situation. I hope they never change the specific ingredient fillers or I may be forced to gamble with other generics/allergic reactions. So, know this is not unusual and you are not alone.
