Can You Take Gabapentin With Suboxone

Can you take a 300mg dose of gabapentin with a piece of a suboxone strip (about 2mgs)? I wanted to know before I mixed both.

I didn't find any problems or interactions listed between these two medications, so that should fine, as long as your doctor approves and it's always best to double check such information to be sure.

The FDA classifies Suboxone as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Gabapentin may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and weight gain.

I was prescribed gabapentin and suboxone together by my dr. I ended up switching to lyrica later on instead.

I took Suboxone one time and it was an 8mg strip, but I decided to quit. Can I take Tylenol-4 the next day?

Yes you can. I take Lyrica with my suboxone and was told if I'd rather take gabapentin instead I can by my doctor, but told him I prefer Lyrica.

I think you should be ok as long as you don't over take the Ativan and Ambien. They can be dangerous with Suboxone or Methadone. But some doctors will prescribe them together anyway like mine did. I use to take Klonopin, Suboxone, Lyrica, Effexor, Seroquel every day. In the past i use to take Xanax/Klonopin and Methadone plus my other meds.

I am on subs and klopins and gabpention. I don't take my gabs hate the feeling from..But went on a trip left my Advil and klopins there didn't mean to I been on 5 mg with 2 mg subs I hate the gabs they make me feel funny as hell. I can't get my pins for 8 days do you think I will withdrawal and if I take the gabs with they help
