Can You Drink Alcohol While Taking Sulfameth Trimethoprim

Can I drink a large amount of vodka at 3/4 if I took a pill at 9? I drank a lot of water with it. will it negatively effect me?

Even a small amount of alcohol can cause worsening of the side effects, you may get more nauseous, dizzy and drowsy than normal, so a large amount could actually be dangerous.

Normal side effects to this medication may include nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
