Can Xarelto Be Cut In Half

My Dr. said I can cut 20mg of xarelto in half in order to help wean me off of them. My question is, is this okay to do?

It is always best to follow your doctor's instructions.

The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and easy bruising.

Are you on any other medications?
