can mylan 50 yellow capsule affect your menstrual cycle, I been takin them frequently for a straight month sometimes takin two for a better sleep if this throwing of my menstrual cycle? Im late 3 days

Hello,

Based on my research, the yellow capsule marked "Mylan 5050" (Temazepam) does not list any side effects that pertain to one's hormones. So I really can't say for sure what it is that might be causing a delayed period.

Temazepam itself is in a class of medications called benzodiazepines. It's supposed to work by slowing activity in the brain to allow sleep.

I wonder though if it could have anything to do with certain foods that you may be eating? Not many people are aware of this, but I find that dairy & meat products, as well as other types of foods (such as soy), do have an effect on one's hormones over time.
This would probably be something to experiment with if you eat these types of foods more often than not.
