My friend has a PSA of 125 and elevated lipase. What besides cancer can cause such a high PSA and high lipase?

Hello, Beth! How is your friend doing?

Yes, neither necessarily signifies pancreatic cancer, according to the NIH. There are other possibilities, such as prostate infections and BPH.

Has his doctor recommended any other testing or prescribed any medications?
