Hello, Sonet! How is your daughter? Did her doctor prescribe this medication?

It is an antibiotic that can be used to treat various types of bacterial infections, but at her age, you shouldn't give her anything, without her doctor's approval.

The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
