My girlfriend had surgery 3 days ago, they prescribed Bactrim ds 800/160mgs and Cephalexin 500mg caps. She tore her rotator cuff last year & after surgery the Dr prescribed these meds without explaining what kind of infection she had, the next day she was itching & had rash. She's weak, tired, she feels sick & idk if she should continue taking it until she sees the dr. do these medicines cause these side effects, should she stop taking them & what kind of infection could she have from a rotator cuff in her right arm?
