Hello, Rosa! How are you doing?

Why will your present medication need to be changed soon? Unless it's not working, there shouldn't be any reason to have to switch to something else.

As to what else you can take, with your medical condition, you need to discuss that with your doctor for your own safety.

On top of the salt free diet, do you also make sure to get plenty of exercise? Are you also eating low fat foods?
One very common problem with low salt/no salt foods is that it removes flavor, so they often heap it with fat to put flavor back. The reverse is also true with low fat/fat free foods, they add tons of sodium to give flavor back.

Do you take a diuretic to remove excess fluid from the body?
