Can I Take Hydrocodone 7.5 And 10/325 Together Through Out The Day

I was prescribed hydrocodone 7.5 and 10's will my insurance cover both. or do I pay for one and let my insurance pay the other

This is really going to depend on the method in which they were prescribed. For instance, if you received one prescription from one doctor and the other from a different doctor, it is going to be considered fraudulent to have them both filled.

Generally, the only way it would be acceptable to have them both filled is if you'd gone to a doctor and were prescribed the lower dose one, had it filled, discovered it wasn't strong enough to handle your pain, then returned to inform them of that and as a result they prescribed the higher dosage. In this case, your insurance would most likely cover both.

Otherwise, if they were prescribed by different doctors and someone is just trying to double up on narcotics, they could end up flagged in the government databases and unable to get any controlled substance prescriptions filled in the future.

Additionally, most pharmacies are not going to fill both of them.

The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation and dry mouth.

Had a car wreck last night. I normally take diclofenac 75 mg 2x a day and hydrocodone/acetaminophen 10/325 3x a day for arthritis.
