would like to know where i can purchase this cream,is excellent for fast relief for burns

I've had the same tube of Buetsin Pictrate burn cream and it's now empty after a recent bad scald of my whole right hand. My GP googled the name for me. A friend I saw in her waiting room was telling me about her burn experience and had a similar story about a yellow burn cream. I am told that it is available online. {edited for privacy} if you have any luck I would love to get feedback.

This is such a miracle cream there had to be a catch -- painlessly eliminates burns so fast it will make your head spin. So I guess there's something unsafe about it, but the only thing I can find is the mention above about it containing mercury. Love to see the substantiation for that, since I used it when I was doing stained glass and nothing relieved or healed burns from the soldering iron like it did. I say "did," since it vanished from the shelves and I haven't seen it in 35 years.

So are the chemicals in hair products and suntan lotions but because they are big corps. they get the pass plus it drives business to Pharma. I'd guess rather that it competed with a big outfit and got regulated out.

I too seem to be among the many looking for butesin picrate. I had a tube for years in a baggie because my dog chewed holes in it but I wouldn't let it go. Now that is gone and I've been looking for it ever since. The best thing for burns that I ever used. Wish I could find it again.

Someone said that Abbott Laboratories in Chile still carries it. I really would love to know if its true and get a bunch of it, it would sell like hot cakes. I have tried everything else and nothing works as well and if caught early enough, you won't even get a blister. It was a staple in our house when I was growing up.

Last night I burnt a finger on a red hot pan (burnt food) . My trusty tube of Butesin Picrate expired in 1989, I used it and no pain this morning. Our pharmacist (30 years ols) has never heared of BP. I will try a compounding chemist (with grey hair and a memory) to hopefully make some up for me.

Just found why (maybe) Butesin Picrate was discontinued.

This "State of California" PDF file is very informative and in some places a bit technical. oag.ca.gov/sites/all/files/agweb/pdfs/cci/safety/picric.pdf

Still doesn't stop me from saving and using "Butesin Picrate". As for mercury content (if at all) mercury was used in polio vaccines as a preservative up until very recent times.

Chlorine is a carcinogen (along with ammonia) added to town drinking water globally.
