This is not medical advice but Buprenorphine (Buprenex, Suboxone) is generally used to help individuals recover from opiate addiction. Not every doctor can prescribe it and you would have to go to a special center for it. There are drugs which are significantly stronger than Norco such as Oxycodone, and Fentanyl. It is ultimately up to your physician as to which medication might be appropriate for you. I wish you the best with your journey and hope that you will find some relief in the near future!

I am suffering from a multitude of illnesses:chronic lyme, chronic fatigue, migraines, and now joint and severe low back pain. Also have documented sleep disorder. My delta and alpha waves are flipped. I have chronic , daily , severe pain located in my abdomen, left side of chest(cleared by cardiology) and my L.flank. Currently taking 2 norco and 10 mgm Valium twice a day, just to be semi-functional but remain miserable most of the time. Would Buprinex be a drug to be considered for me? MD's are not listening to me and i have to almost have to beg for the pain meds that are starting to not work. Any help you canp rovide will be helpful. Thank you.
