I live in Sacramento, ca and I went to CVS and Walmart and both of them said they were on back order. Cvs carrier Mylan and Walmart carries Roxy’s. This is so frustrating!! I found a mom and pa shop that has them but literally the same time last year they pulled this same stunt. Absolutely unacceptable, this isn’t a medication people can go without!!

Hello Nina,

I'm sorry to hear you are having difficulty finding the brand you like best. Unfortunately it is a problem that people are experiencing more frequently these days. Pharmacies are businesses and in such they often buy for cost effectiveness and profitability, which often does not meet the standards of customers like you. As with most businesses, shopping around helps some but if it isn't available anywhere near by you might have to consider some other options such as purchasing from an online pharmacy and having your medication shipped to you.

I hope that you find a pharmacy that works out for you.

Hi Nina. I live near Oakland and my CVS has the Mylan brand. I prefer these and actually have it on record and my Dr. writes it out on the prescription mylan or West Ward formerly Rhodes, only. I have had both and there really isn't much difference. I prefer the Mylan brand but the West Ward formerly Rhodes are an adequate substitute. I called them today at CVS to verify their having the Mylan and they said that they do. I will be dropping my prescription off today. I have told them if they don't have either one then I will go elsewhere and if they slip Sun Pharma brand in like last month I will not pay for it. Those from Sun burn like hell and I made it clear to them they should not do that to their customers. They agreed. It was in bold letters on the bag of my prescription MYLAN ONLY and they still gave me that. I pay out of pocket and even with the discount card is expensive for 120 tablets. 4 a day of those Sun left ulcers under my tongue. My mistake for not confirming. But they assured me initially they would contact me when they are not able to provide Mylan. So you should be fine with the Rhodes/West Ward. Good luck.

Re: davidjw1 (# 2)

Just to clarify everyone... Rhodes and Westward are two different brands of generic subutex. I’ve been on a Mylan for years but they’re on BO here in Texas. They switched me to the Rhodes brand and they are AWFUL. I’m searching everywhere for the Mylan and cannot find any. I called Mylan and they are currently on long term back order so whatever your pharmacy is supplying, they must still be pulling stock from their warehouse but may be running out soon. Just a heads up! Good luck everyone, these generic subutexes are such a coin toss.

Re: MommaMurph (# 3)

That's crazy! Rhodes brand is the best brand available today by far... All the others are garbage now except the tiny hi tech which are good quality but underdosed.
