Found a capsule like you are describing no markings on it. Still have it if someone would be interested in testing it in a lab.

Hello Oliver,

If the pill you are describing does not have an imprint (marking) then it would not be a controlled medicine per the FDA regulations.

With legal medication ruled out it could be a vitamin/supplement, dietary pill, or an illegal substance.

Just to start with this does not match anything that the police or FBI websites warn about and so I would say it's fairly safe to assume that you have not found an illegal drug. On the other hand brown pills with liquids in them are quite common, in fact I take a GNC fish oil right now that fits this description. If you are truly concerned that what you found might be an illegal substance you can take it to a local pharmacist and see if they will analyze the contents for you.

Have a wonderful day and let me know if there is any additional information I can provide you with.
