A question has also been asked about a pink tablet, with this same marking and no identification has been found, yet.

Someone posted that it was an over the counter sleep aid, which could make sense, since there is obviously more than on pill with the same marking.

However, I cannot confirm this.

Was it found in the U.S. or elsewhere?

It is a sleep aid called simply rest sold by fred's stores.
It is really good if your having problems sleeping take 2 about 1-2 hrs before bed time.I take it 2 hrs.

Yes It's from the U.S. it is a diphenhydramine. Diphenhydramine is an antihistamine used to relieve allergic rhinitis (seasonal allergy) symptoms including sneezing, runny nose, itching, and watery eyes and to relieve itching and swelling associated with uncomplicated allergic skin reactions. It is also used as a short-term sleep aid, to control coughs due to colds or allergy, and to prevent/treat motion sickness. Diphenhydramine is available in nonprescription products alone and in combination with other nonprescription drugs, to treat symptoms of allergy, colds, and upper respiratory infections. The specific one your referring to I know for 100% is a shop rite brand because I use them myself. Though to be on the safe side I would never ever use any drug (OTC, PRESCRIBED or HOMEOPATHIC) unless I purchased and opened it myself. Never take a prescription drug that is not prescribed for you.
