Hello, Earline! How are you?

Did you mean Metoprolol?

And yes, multiple blood pressure/cardiac medications can be taken, if your doctor has prescribed them. This is often done, when someone has treatment resistant hypertension, or if their current medication isn't working for them.

What has your doctor instructed you to do?

Ginny. I was taking 20mg of lisinipril and was ok. Went io dr and he upped the dosage to 40mg . I am now slurring my words and can not walk well at all. I feel weak. I feel like a retard when i try to walk. I love to walk my dog, but i cannot walk well. I also cannot get up off the couch sometimes but it takes alot of effort. I cannot walk up stairs without holding on. This has all happened after the increase. Do you think this is because of lisinopril.
