Can I give my 7yr old daughter Benadryl if she's taking Clonidine .01mg x3 a day? She's experiencing eye ting and significant sinus drainage. She in good spirits otherwise but can't stop itching her hers. Shes been on Clonidine for more than a year.

Hi Lara,

Sorry to hear about your daughter's allergies. I hope she's been able to find relief since the timing of your post.

According the University of Maryland Medical Center, there are no drug interactions between Benadryl and Clonidine. However, if in doubt, you can always contact the prescribing doctor just to be on the safe side.

I hope this helps!
