Hello, Jackie! How are you?
The basal ganglia control movement, so if there has been some damage done due to a stroke, such issues can occur. Such a stroke could even result in long-term problems with movement, vision, swallowing, and sense of touch, according to the NIH.
What medications is he taking? Some of them could also contribute, according to the FDA.
How long ago did he have the stroke?
